Chata Huta z vonku

Chata Huta is a cozy cottage at the end of a dead-end lane in Muránska Huta, where complete silence reigns — no cars, just birdsong and the rustling of the forest.

It sits on a large private plot, so you can enjoy absolute privacy — whether you are roasting something over the fire or just relaxing in the fresh air.

The wood-burning stove is the heart

Gather around it after a hike with a glass of wine or a hot tea. In summer you will appreciate the air conditioning, and the fully equipped kitchen lets you cook just like at home. Free parking right at the cottage.

In my free time I compete in armwrestling and ride my mountain bike — the discipline and thoroughness from sport shows in how I care for the cottage too.

Good to know in advance

When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is between 14:00 and 21:00, check-out between 7:00 and 11:00. Keys are handed over in person — just call about an hour before arrival at 0902 737 531. Need a different time? Let us know and we will work it out.
Is there a minimum number of nights?
There is no fixed minimum stay — for direct bookings we can arrange even shorter stays depending on availability.
What are the cancellation terms?
You can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before arrival — the amount paid is refunded in full. Cancelling later, or not showing up, incurs a 100% cancellation fee. Full terms: Terms & Conditions.
How does payment work?
After you submit your booking, we automatically send you a proforma invoice for the full amount with payment details (IBAN, variable symbol). Your dates are firmly reserved once the payment reaches our account — we confirm by e-mail.
Can I bring my dog? And what about children?
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement (a surcharge may apply). Children of all ages are welcome; a cot for children under 3 is available for €10/night on request. No smoking and no parties in the cottage.
